Notes: At Anchor off Gran Tarajal, Fuertaventura. Woke up this morning to a dead calm, glassy blue sea and a school of fish under the boat. Looking east is Africa, invisible but just over the horizon a mere 70 nautical miles away. I am exploring the east coast of Fuertaventura. Perfect weather for it. Little wind. Last week was reading about Woodie Guthrie. This week is Jesus and Bob Dylan. I rarely read two books at once but thought the co-incidence rather funny. Don't see what all the fuss is about Dylan's book. Hmmmm. London is just over a week away. Got to sort out boat insurance ashore (fill in some form in an internet cafe) then it's off to the next anchorage, not more than 5 miles away.
