We started off in the fog and as the day progressed the sun broke through the mist. We had an easterly wind behind us, about 10 knots. We sailed through the straighgts right up to Terife with the Spinaker. From there the wind died and then shifted SW. Lumpy seas and a current reducing us to 2 knots for an hour. Eventually we started making way. We were on a two day passage to Vilamoura. Ricky excelled himself facing a squall in the wee hours of the night. As seemed the norm for a lot of passages the final approach was under engine. Click on the picture of Ricky for some snaps from the trip.
