Cuidadella

Had a fantastic sail to Mennorca. Left at 7:30 in the morning got in at 15:20. Highest speed recored in the log 6.2 knots. Here she is the good ship Comprmise tied up and anchored off a little cove adjacent to Port Cuidadella, an ancient, long and narrow port. We had a pool side view of the commings and goings in the harbour. We even managed to convince the terribly fierce female harbourmasters we were not too far out in the channel. For most of our visit we had 4 boats tied up next to us. . . . and did we mind the wake from the ferries? Naw. We just sung the theme when the Death Star appears in the orginal Star Wars. These ships were that impressive, very modern and slightly sinister. You should have seen them do a 180 at the end of the bay . . .
