Spinnaker Action

On the 7th we had been out 3 days. The wind had died down to about a F3 and we were no longer making 5 knots an hour. I had yet to quite wake up. In fact I was getting down right lazy but at Ed’s prompting I got the spinnaker out. We rigged it and got it ready to deploy. We had an excellent day in the sun with a big colourful sail out on the ocean. In fact it was a great day sailing. All very quiet with no land in site, anywhere. Strangely I never feel a long way off from shore. A bit of shore is right under my feet. God look after her, the good ship Compromise sails on. . .
