Lets try something different

I am shattered. I have been working solidly since arriving in Kilrush. Out of 33 days I have had 5 not working on the boat. I think I'm on the third iteration of my job list. So far completed, rewiring and testing the water maker, re-wiring and installing the inverter, install and wiring the car stereo, replace all the cabin neon lights, fix broken cabin sole hatch, head sink cabinet door, and repair the liferaft mount point, also completed the replacement parts shipped from England for the Duogen, re-routed the Satellite antenna cable and navtex, plus cleaned and painted the hull and check the sea cocks while the boat was in the yard for a weekend. Removed the mast and then the Radar from the mast and have had completed the new mast steps, gooseneck weld and overhaul in Fintan's workshop(His team did the work, am waiting the bill with trepidation). Last but I am sure not least I have made two spare blades for the self steering wind vane. One of the funniest items was the tricolour and anchor light from the masthead. I thought I'd better check out the bulbs and check up on spares. Well I could not for the life of me open the thing, which clicked off the mast like a giant red, green and white salt seller. I must have consulted 3 people how to open the damn thing when Jan stepped in with a bit of common sense, a little trick (boiling water), and some brute force to finally open the damn thing.

Here are some pics from the last few weeks, a beautiful sunset in the marina, the mast coming off the boat and Fintan welding the holes on the mast. And for something random a punt in the workshop which belongs to Adam.
