Sunday the 6th of February. I am back on board Compromise. There was a fair bit of cleaning to do before I moved in. Much thanks goes out to Finbarr who kept an eye on her. At one point over the Christmas period the storms were so bad that his dingey got swept off the pier. My worst loss was a canvas cover for an outboard engine. Plans now are to seriously start looking for crew and preparing the boat for Spring sailing. There is a lot of minor work that needs to be done with electrical componants and most importantly I want to complete the conversion of roller reefing system over to slab reefing. I might be freezing my goolies off but still it is good to be back on board.
