Sailed out of Falmouth today, despite the £13.06 grocery bill at Tescos. Not superstitious, not me. Actually the numbers add up to ten so I was onto a winner. I am in Helford River just 5 miles outside of Falmouth. It has been a beautiful summer sunday. I can't help looking at everyone thinking they have to go to work tomorrow. I have decided what I am going to do. Compromise is going into berth for the winter and I am going to look for crewing opportunities on someone else’s boat. The thought of spending the winter on board is just too grim to contemplate. All depends on getting that illusive crew position. As I am quickly learning plans at sea have a way of changing before your eyes. They are as illusive as a perfect summers day or even as fleating as a sunset.
